Dear Pyromid:

This note could have been written six years ago when we first used our Pyromid grill in Mexico following a perfect meal first time out of the bag. However, now with one in the house and 2 sizes in our Winnebago, we have had several hundred more really neat experiences from simple hot dogs, on our baby 8 inch grill at rest areas, to gourmet meals, cornish game hens (4 at a time), and a turkey Thanksgiving while camping. Our newest oven addition was great for wings and things at the beach. While solid fuel starters have always been great, your new fuel sticks are much faster for getting all the charcoal burning together. Several years ago enough Winnebago families had Pyromids, that we put on a fish fry for an entire 44 motor home caravan. My husband, a retired NASA Engineer has always been one to buy and modify, but "clever engineering" and good workmanship in the Pyromid Cooking System have left them unchanged. Please keep us informed of any new innovations as you have with the new oven.... Our phone is on vacation as we are out Pyromiding again..

Dear Pyromid,

I want to thank you folks for creating a truly unique cooking system. My oven/barbecue has been a constant friend and tool for more than 30 trips into remote regions of Alaska. The Pryomid® oven has baked my meals, smoked our fish, and warmed my tent and friends. When you float rivers above the Arctic tree line and have no firewood, the Pyromid and charcoal become the most versatile, most important camping tool I have. Deep dish pies, light moist cakes, foil baked salmon, barbecued filets, willow smoked trout and fluffy biscuits are everyday fare while we're "roughing it". All outdoorsmen would benefit from using one of your Pyromid barbecue/ovens.

Thank You! Just to let you know, I've never written to any company about their product, ever! My family and friends think it's an honor just to receive a note from me! But I felt I just had to tell you how much I LOVE your stove/oven!

I sea-kayak in the summer. Since most of the places we go to are not easily accessible by car, we pack just what will fit into the kayaks. Your stove is the best thing I ever purchased. It fits perfectly in the hold and doesn't take up much space at all. Since I've always been pretty unfamiliar with other stoves that use liquid fuel (I've had a real fear of blowing myself up!), this works terrific! I can use anything to fuel it, charcoal, pine cones, drift wood, moss, etc.. I just love it. It works fast and stays hot a long time.

The best day was catching sea bass and halibut off the kayak and cooking them to perfection on the stove and finishing it off with fresh baked ginger bread afterwards! Absolutely delicious! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

My husband and I run an outfitting business in Cody, WY. I'm writing to tell you how nice the Pyromid is as a barbecue because of its need for so little fuel and its use of various fuels. The fact that it is multi-functional as an oven and smoker, a stove, even a wok, makes it such a valuable tool for back country use. I baked a turkey in it for Thanksgiving.
