Pyromid® System
Products were originally developed for the outdoor enthusiast, for
recreational use, and for the emergency preparedness markets. Tens
of thousands are in use by people in the groups mentioned below.
Why
the Emergency Preparedness Market?

The Red
Cross has chosen the Pyromid® stove as the stove of choice for
disaster relief. During Hurricane Mitch in 1999, the Red Cross set
up the Pyromid® Stove Fund, which allows funds to be donated for
the specific purpose of building and distributing Pyromid® stoves
during disaster relief. The
Red Cross Letter outlined this program, and the Red Cross is continuing
to work with EcoPrime, Inc. to further develop the use of the Pyromid®
stove for disaster relief.
Donations
to the Red Cross for purchasing Pyromid® stoves for use in disaster
relief can be sent to Red Cross Pyromid® Fund, P.O. Box 586, Cheyenne,
WY 82003.
